Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi and settle into your hotel
Day 2 - Explore Delhi
Full sightseeing tour visiting Old and New Delhi, See the city by rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid and Gandhi’s memorial at Raj Ghat.
Day 3 - Delhi - Agra
Head to Agra and with your guide explore the amazing Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
Day 4 - Agra - Fatephur Sikri - Jaipur
Enjoy an incredible Sunrise at the Taj Mahal then travel to Fatehpur Sikri to explore the fascinating ghost city located in the desert. Overnight in Jaipur, the colourful capital of Rajasthan
Day 5 - Jaipur
Full sightseeing tour of the city seeing Amber Fort and Palace, the Maharaja’s City Palace and Palace of the Winds
Day 6 - Jaipur - Patna
Fly to Patna via Delhi and transfer to MV Rajmahal to begin your cruise upstream on the River Ganges
Day 7 - Maner - Doriganj
Cruising up the Ganges River visit the Mughal tomb and continue to the river port of Doriganj
Day 8 - Buxar
Travel via Ballia to Buxar and visit the memorial of the battlefield, the old East India Cemetery and enjoy a rickshaw ride to the ghats of Buxar.
Day 9 - Ghazipur
Continue upstream past Chausa to Ghazipur. Visit the tomb of Lord Conrnwallis, the General responsible for the British defeat at Yorktown. Explore the busy Ghazipur bazaar
Day 10 - Varanasi
Sail into Varanasi one of the most colourful and oldest cities in the world. Visit the Buddhist town of Sarnath, the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi Stupa and the archaeological museum.
Day 11 - Varanasi - Chunar - Ramnagar
Explore the city of Chunar and it’s amazing Mughal Fort, old British Cemetery and the Mughal tombstones Visit Ramnagar and see the Maharaja’s Palace and Museum
Day 12 - Varanasi
Go by small boat on the River Ganges to see the sunrise. Watch the locals offer water to the Sun Gods and take holy dips. Walk through the alleyways of Varanasi followed by the beautiful Ganga Aarti Ceremony.
